How To Use Flea Bombs To Fumigate Your Home

If you have dogs and live in an area in which fleas are common, there's a good chance that at one time or another your dog is going to bring fleas into your home.  Fleas are bad enough on your dog but when they start biting you or your children, it's another thing altogether.  If your dog has fleas, then your home has fleas.  The only way to effectively eradicate fleas in your home is with the use of flea bombs.  A flea bomb is a device that is used to chemically fumigate your home and disperse a chemical agent that will kill any fleas living in your carpet.

When you purchase flea bombs make sure that you purchase some that have chemicals that kill living fleas and prevent any surviving fleas from being able to reproduce.  This will effectively end the life cycle of the fleas should some survive the fumigation process.

I'm not going to explain exactly how to use flea bombs since there are precise instructions on the package.  What I am going to do is give you a couple of tips that will make using flea bombs more effective at eradicating your flea problem.  When you set the flea bombs off in your home, you should take your dog to the groomer for a good flea bath.  You should also have them use a spot on flea treatment before you bring your dog home.  The flea bomb will take your the fleas in your home.  The groomer will take care of the fleas on your dog.  The only thing left is for you to take care of the fleas that are in your grass.  Fleas can often hide in your lawn and wait patiently for your dog to walk by so they can hitch a ride and take up residence.  You should complete the third leg of this flea control triangle by using a pesticide on your grass to kill any fleas that are living in it.  Making sure that you cover all three legs of this flea control triangle will insure that you, your dog, and you're home are finally flea free.  Now, try saying "flea free" three times fast.
