The French Poodle is certainly one of the more fascinating and beautiful breed of dog. This dog is classified as a French hunting breed and shares various similarities with other dogs in the hunting breed category.
Under the FCI rules the poodle is divided into 4 sizes, Standard, Medium, Miniature and Toy. This picture is of a standard size poodle which, is a relatively large dog as far as Poodles go. Each size also comes in 5 color categories, white, black, brown, gray and apricot. The apricot colored poodle as pictured is a beautiful color for poodles, though it seems as serious breeders opt for the black and white varieties. I happen to think this color is gorgeous.
